Insanity kept me guessing until the very end with an endless amount of plot twists and surprises. I loved the way the characters from the original books were represented, it put a whole new spin on Wonderland! The next book in the Insanity series is on its way but no release date has been confirmed yet. I have a Kindle Paperwhite which meant the book was a bargain at £2.53 or free to read with Kindle Unlimited. If you enjoy this book I would recommend the Alice In Deadland by Mainak Dhar which follows the same Alice and Wonderland template but in a zombie wasteland!

Insanity by Cameron Jace
One of the last books I read, and would thoroughly recommend, is Insanity by Cameron Jace. It is based on Alice In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. It is about a young girl called Alice who is an lunatic asylum and can't remember why she is there. The only friend she has is a potted plant, called Tiger Lily, who speaks to her during her episodes. She uses this as a measure as when she is "crazy" and when she is sane. At the same time, there is a murderer on the loose who is targeting young girls and after killing them is stretching their mouths into gruesome smiles. The killer is known as the Cheshire Cat, who is being investigated by Dr Cater Pillar. He also lives in the asylum but has gained the power to come and so as he leaves, much to the anger of the prison guards. Soon, Alice is summoned to Dr Pillar who explains that he needs her help to stop the Cheshire Cat.
